These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Activities Bonaire website and your booking of activities and tours through it. Activities Bonaire is operated by Caribious ("we", "us", "our"), registered at Kaya Berilo 38, Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) no. 9796. By placing a booking you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Activities Bonaire is a booking platform. The activities and tours offered are operated by independent, local tour operators ("Operators"). We act as an intermediary that lets you discover, compare and book these experiences. The Operator is responsible for delivering the activity itself.
2. Bookings and confirmation
When you complete a booking and payment, you receive an instant confirmation and a voucher by email. Your contract for the activity is formed at that moment. Please check your confirmation and bring your voucher (printed or on your phone) and a valid ID to the activity.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and, unless stated otherwise, are per person. The price shown at checkout includes everything listed under the activity; tourist tax is included where applicable and tips are not included. Accepted payment methods are credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), iDEAL and Wero. Payment is required to confirm your booking, and your card is charged when you complete the order.
4. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and change conditions are shown on each activity and are set out in our Cancellation Policy. Some activities offer free cancellation up to a stated deadline; others are non-refundable. The conditions shown at the time of booking apply.
5. Your responsibilities
- Arrive at the meeting point on time and follow the Operator's safety instructions.
- Make sure the activity is suitable for you and anyone in your party, including any health, fitness, age or swimming requirements stated on the activity.
- Provide accurate booking and contact details so we and the Operator can reach you.
6. The activities and Operators
Operators are responsible for the safe and proper delivery of their activities, including equipment, guides, licensing and insurance. Activity descriptions are provided by or on behalf of the Operators; while we work only with vetted local partners, details such as timing and inclusions may occasionally change.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to our role as an intermediary. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of Operators, nor for circumstances beyond reasonable control such as weather, sea conditions or other force majeure. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Complaints
If something isn't right, contact us as soon as possible at info@caribious.com so we can help resolve it with the Operator.
9. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of Bonaire (the Caribbean Netherlands). Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court of Bonaire.
